AH partnership awardMerison has received the Albert Heijn award for best non-food partner. This was announced during the Albert Heijn Supplier Day on Monday.

 

Merison was chosen best Non-Food Partner 2011 out of 400 companies. It is the first non-food award that Albert Heijn has given out.

Journées des collections fair in Abbaye de Châalis, France

Merison and Hermes-OTTO International combine strengths in new Joint Venture

Frankfurt, 11 February 2011

 

Dutch based housewares company Merison and Hermes-OTTO International, the trading and sourcing arm of the Otto Group, have today announced the establishment of a joint venture that will combine their strengths in a number of key markets. The partnership involves Hermes-OTTO International establishing businesses in the USA and Germany to sell and distribute Merison’s licensed brand ranges, including leading brands such as Jamie Oliver, Laura Ashley and the Smurfs. Further Merison will simultaneously develop businesses in the Netherlands and UK with the objective of selling Hermes-OTTO International’s services and brands (e.g. Bombay) to retailers in these countries.
